A refreshing cocktail that will get your Summer BBQ or party off with a bang.
I decided to call it Martha’s cocktail because after a few glasses you will be dancing in the street.
The tequila does pack a hidden punch so if you prefer something a little less potent you could dilute with spritzer or increase the ratio of water melon to tequila.
To make a simple syrup just place equal amounts of water and sugar in a saucepan (eg: 100 ml water, 100 g sugar) and heat gently to dissolve the sugar. Bring to the boil and simmer for a minute or two then leave to cool before using.
